Erawan worked with a number a range of clients for one of the biggest global events in the city's conference history, the 18,000 delegate World AIDS conference.

Erawan produced the full gamut of printed materials, CDs, and exhibition collaterals for agencies, MNCs and NGOs. We produced booklets, leaflets, case studies, scientific posters, monographs and other literature by lithographic printing in advance of the congress beginning in April. Printed literature was stored at our premises until needed. Erawan produced literature for clients from the UK and USA right up until the beginning of the congress. Many of the technical papers were being produced right up until the start of the event, Erawan switched to digital offset printing to get these important items printed in time for key side events at the conference. In addition to the offset items, Erawan produced a full range of large format prints; posters,banners, mounted displays, and self-standing exhibition materials for display in hotel lobbies. The pictured exhibition booth was produced by Erawan for Meditech Media, Manchester UK for its client, Roche. All large format prints were made by Erawan using HP 5500 large format printers with ONYX RIP software. In addition to printed items, Erawan also produced CDs for a number of clients, two of which used presentational data generated at the congress itself. CDs were both replicated in advance, and duplicated during the conference itself on CDRs pre-printed. Erawan provided client support, rented exhibition stands, and assisted in other logistical matters as our client required.

Professional conference organizers (PCOs) are not printers. Even booth manufacturers and designers, however creative or experienced in commissioning print work, are not printers. A few organizers are in possession of large format printers, yet their output is, in our experience, not up to the high standards that our international clients expect.

PCO's or rental companies, are also perchant to offloading visiting client print assignments to to one of the hundreds of low quality printers in Bangkok. After they have taken a generous cut, the cost is as attractive as the final print quality.
